The Council of Graduate Students (COGS) of the University of Minnesota maintain a useful website with information about various resources in support of graduate students.
The most comprehensive set of support resources for teachers at the U can be found at the Center for Teaching and Learning Services.
For resources and courses on teaching and career planning, the U is part of the national "Preparing Future Faculty" program.
Student Conflict Resolution Center (SCRC). The center is an appropriate contact place for many student disputes,including grade appeals. Grade appeals or other student grievancesshould first be directed to the instructor, then the Department Chair, then to SCRC. They can be contacted at sos@tc.umn.edu.
